Wow!! The speed of technology is mind boggling!

It is incredible what can be done with current technology. It makes me wonder where all of this is going! I was particularly impressed with the sensitivity of the screen to pick up the wind motion of having it being blown upon, and then its ability to translate this into the movement of the propellars of the windmill. I also marvel at the way the pictures seem to lift right off the screen when being pinched for enlarging or moving.
As teacher, I can see where this implements the skills of research, writing, and using technological know-how for students.

That was amazing! I think that what is even more exciting than the actual book is the software development. This is something that could absolutely grab kids attention and hold it while exploring something in which they might not otherwise have an interest. The implications of this type of technology for education are mind-blowing.

Wow! Learning is literally at your fingertips! I am still trying to wrap my brain around how he can make the windmill move by blowing on the iPad. Ellen and I were discussing how this just completely revolutionizes publishing. I am trying to think about how to get started...

It reminds me of another video you showed - maybe at MP3 - of a student who was frustrated with an old fashioned book because he couldn't make the pictures open! This is the sort of presentation we strive to create in our SMART files: text, photos, video, voice over from an expert, all in an interactive format. It's so engaging! Just imagine your students who sometimes struggle to focus. They couldn't help but learn!

Wow! the amazing feats of technology and the implications for changing the way schools operate and kids learn. Which also trickles down to the business of publishing. How great it is to be a "learner" these days with that kind of information in an an interactive format. There is also implications for the evolution of the brain itself! The rate of how everything changes these days can only be sped up.

This new book format is very intuitive and so dynamic! What a great way to make books interactive. It makes data very easy to access and fun to use. Students must be allowed to try creating animations and interactive media, as well. They will be more comfortable with the medium than the teachers, but we must expand the boundaries of our old methods.

Awesome! That is so cool. I need an ipad. No wonder Boarders Book went out of business, pretty so all books will be electronic. Children will love learning with this new technology!

I have used my husbands iPad so I know it's usefulness.... however this software publishing tool is beyond what I could ever imagine.... As a teacher, I can see my children LOVING to read books like this with the interactive elements.

This is fascinating technology. I can't wait to tell me son about if. He is a writer and musician. He has written a book already. We can use this in the classroom in so many ways.
